Minecraft Grass Block Cake: A square cinnamon vanilla cake coated in chocolate crumb streusel and a cinnamon brown sugar topping, layered with brown cream cheese frosting, topped with a layer of grass-textured frosting, and finished with a Minecraft non-edible topper.
Minecraft Creeper Key Lime Sandwich: A square lime cookie, sandwiching a layer of lime frosting, and coated in green sprinkles, then finished with a Minecraft creeper non-edible topper.
Minecraft Cookies & Cream Sandwich: A square chocolate cookies & cream cookie, sandwiching a purple marshmallow mousse, loaded with brownie pieces and more cookies & cream pieces, and finished with a Minecraft enderman non-edible topper.
Minecraft Cookie Butter Cookie: A square marbled spiced cookie butter cookie, topped with melted cookie butter, then cinnamon vanilla and cookie butter frostings, finished with cookie butter crumbs and a Minecraft chicken non-edible topper.
Minecraft Cherry Blossom Cookie: A square pink cookie mixed with maraschino cherries, topped with a cherry cream cheese frosting mixed with maraschino cherry purée, sprinkled with cookie crumbs, and finished with Minecraft pig non-edible topper.
Minecraft Lemon Poppyseed Cookie: A square lemon poppy seed cookie topped with lemon curd and lemon buttercream and finished with a Minecraft bee non-edible topper.

Pink Sugar Cookie: A classic almond sugar cookie topped with a silky pink swoop of real almond frosting.
Chocolate Chip Cookie: A classic warm brown sugar cookie loaded with melty milk chocolate chips and rich semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
This Week’s Picks
This week was a collaboration with Minecraft, with each dessert featuring a non-edible topper connected to elements from the game itself. Although I grew up mostly without video games, I recognize Minecraft for its influence and following, and I think the idea to make this the theme for a week was a good one. The app icon itself was also changed to fit the theme, as were the six-pack boxes, and all the desserts were square in shape. As I have been earning a lot of points from my extra trips to Crumbl, I was able to once again get a four-pack for free. The desserts I selected were the Minecraft Creeper Key Lime Sandwich, the Minecraft Cookies & Cream Sandwich, the Minecraft Cookie Butter Cookie, and the Minecraft Lemon Poppyseed Cookie.
Minecraft Creeper Key Lime Sandwich
This was probably the one I was most looking forward to as a big fan of key lime, and while the cookie was decent, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The lime frosting inside tasted like a more artificial lime flavor, and the cookies were average at best by Crumbl’s standards, without much of a distinct lime flavor. I think it might’ve made more sense to have graham cracker flavored cookies to go with the key lime theme.

Minecraft Cookies & Cream Sandwich
I expected this one to be similar to their Oreo-inspired sandwich cookies, and it was essentially a variation of them, just with the Minecraft design and colored mousse inside. I really liked the soft texture of the cookie, although I would recommend using a fork as it can get a bit messy without one. Because of that texture, it feels less like a cookie and closer to a soft piece of cake, but not an overly rich and filling one.

Minecraft Cookie Butter Cookie
This cookie was clearly a take on Crumbl’s Biscoff-inspired desserts, which make pretty regular appearances on the menu and rarely go wrong. The cookie definitely had the cookie butter flavor, with a bit of spice hinting at a gingerbread flavor. The frosting was added diagonally across the cookie square, and was made up of a good mixture of vanilla and cinnamon (without too much spice).

Minecraft Lemon Poppyseed Cookie
Lemon poppyseed cookies also make occasional appearances on Crumbl’s lineup, and while they’re usually alright, they rarely come with frosting, opting in most cases for just a lemon glaze. This cookie featured a lemon buttercream frosting that I was particularly looking forward to, and did taste about as expected: sweet with a bit of a tang without being too sour.

Dessert of the Week
Before tasting any of the cookies, I thought dessert of the week was going to go to the Minecraft Creeper Key Lime Sandwich, but after trying them all it was immediately obvious that the Minecraft Cookies & Cream Sandwich was my personal favorite.

I felt the desserts this week were pretty on par with Crumbl’s usual standards, with the Minecraft Cookies & Cream Sandwich being on the high end, the Minecraft Creeper Key Lime Sandwich towards the lower end, and the other two cookies in between.
Final Thoughts
The theme this week was more niche, geared towards gamers, although not so niche that most people don’t understand the reference. Minecraft is one of the most popular and well-known video games out there, mostly geared towards PC gaming and offering a lot for people trying to create their own worlds. I was a bit disappointed that the Minecraft Grass Block Cake was made with cream cheese frosting, as it otherwise looked like one of the best of the week. The non-edible toppers felt like a bit of a novelty for taking pictures, considering once you want to eat the desserts, you’ll end up discarding them. Ultimately, I was happy with this week’s selections, but didn’t feel like it was as much of a standout week as Crumbl was trying to advertise it.
Next week’s theme will be inspired by Little Debbie desserts, with some I am looking forward to trying for the first time and at least one or two I remember enjoying from past lineups.
