This Week’s Picks
This week didn’t necessarily seem to fit to a specific theme, rather including many different desserts that Crumbl has done before and have been successful. The Dubai-Style Chocolate Brownie returned once again after being featured for more than one of the last several weeks, and the Tres Leches Cake, one of my personal favorites, also returned to the menu. The other options this week were all cookies that weren’t too far out of the ordinary for Crumbl’s standards, and the Cookies & Cream White Chip Cookie made an appearance just over a month ago, so I was slightly surprised to see it so soon again. In addition to the Tres Leches Cake and Cookies & Cream White Chip Cookie, I ended up getting the Cereal Milk Cookie and the Original M&M’S Cookie.
Tres Leches Cake

I believe the first time I ever tried a tres leches style cake was one from Crumbl, and that was how I discovered how much I liked it. Crumbl is particularly good at making these, with the cake remaining soft even right after taking it out of the fridge, and a good amount of whipped cream on top. They are also a pretty good size to last at least a few days, and are never too heavy. These are one of the few Crumbl desserts I would recommend always keeping refrigerated.
Overall Rating: 9/10
Cookies & Cream White Chip Cookie

For a full detailed review of this cookie, check out the article from the week of September 14th. I would like to note, however, that I felt it was made a bit better that week than this time around.
Overall Rating: 7/10
Cereal Milk Cookie

This is a cookie I see from Crumbl once in a while, and is a safe but not particularly special choice. The Fruity Pebbles are good but can sometimes be slightly overwhelming, and the texture they add only really feels good for the first few days. The cookie itself is a pretty simple sugar cookie; good, but not especially memorable. I would recommend finishing it within the first few days as the cookie itself tends to harden after that.
Overall Rating: 7/10
Original M&M’S Cookie

Although I never really get chocolate chip cookies from Crumbl anymore, I imagine this cookie is essentially one of those but with M&Ms in place of chocolate chips. As Crumbl advertises, it is fair enough to say the cookie is “tried-and-true,” making it once again a safe choice rather than something more exciting, and my decision to include it was mainly to round out a four-pack. Like the Cereal Milk Cookie, I would advise eating this one within the first few days, as the cookie gets a bit hard close to the end of the week.

Dessert of the Week
This week, it’s really a no-brainer for the Tres Leches Cake to win. None of the other cookies came close for me, and I wasn’t surprised about that considering the lineup.
Overall Weekly Rating
Overall Rating: 7/10
This was an acceptable week for Crumbl, but really not any more than that. Without the Tres Leches Cake, it would probably drop below average for my own personal tastes. I didn’t end up making a second trip this week, and though that was partly due to lack of spare time, there isn’t anything I would have wanted again other than the Tres Leches Cake, which is big enough to last the whole week for me anyway.
Final Thoughts
In some ways, this week might be meant to be a bit of a transition into a more exciting week for Halloween. Another reason I opted to pass on getting a second Tres Leches Cake is that next week sees the return of the Cookies & Cream Tres Leches Cake, along with a lot of my other personal favorites. Another new addition is the “value menu,” which so far only contains a single chocolate chip cookie thin, but going for only 99 cents, it is a really good deal that I will most likely go for during my initial visit this week.
